Western Carolinas Cluster of UU Congregations

Welcome!

We are so glad you are here!

What is Unitarian Universalism?

In the sixteenth century, Unitarians were burned at the stake for denying the Trinity. And we've been taking heat ever since--for opposing slavery, segregation, homophobia, and other acts of injustice. We are Unitarian Universalists, the Uncommon Denomination. Our foundations are reason, reverence, and freedom. Our mission is to recognize the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Our reverence is for the Spirit of Life.

Our Services

Please join us on the second and fourth Sundays of each month for service at 10:30 AM. We meet at the Tryon Youth Center located on Route 176N, Tryon, NC. Coffee and refreshments are served at 10 AM before the service. The social hour following the service gives members and friends the opportunity to meet and discuss subjects of interest.
Please check the "Newcomers" page for additional information you may find helpful.
